Sawn-Flitches.jpg - 25304 BytesRH has four samills, located in Milne Bay, Central and Western provinces. They process a combination of red and white hardwoods, medium light and soft timber species. Current exports quantities are approximately 3,000m3 per month.

The Sawn Timber Division is engaged in the storage and shipment of raw materials and the promotion of white timber species. It is also becoming increasingly involved in timber processing, including drying and production of S4S, E4E, decking tiles and planks.



Export Countries

The majority of hardwood timber products are sold in Australia. Customers are industrial firms in the building and construction sector. The Sawn Timber Division supplies timber to customers in New Zealand for joinery, furniture manufacturing and other timber industry businesses. The Division has also engaged a number of distributors, merchants and moulding factories in Japan and Taiwan.

  • Full Sawn Rough Sawn Air-Dried or Kiln-Dried moisture content 12-14%
  • Kiln-Dried moisture content 12-14% S2S Fine Rip or S4S
  • Decking (E4E with 3mm 4 Pencil Round Corner and Anti-Slip Reeded Profile with Grooves)
  • ACQ Pressure treatment: H1-H4 levels are applicable upon request and available in Alotau sawmill production only. (Pls specify the application needs to define Hazard level needs)
  • Lumber core & pallet materials
